The Hub School

About The Hub School

We are a school offering specialist support for students with social, emotional and mental health needs. Our aim is to improve the life chances of young people for whom mainstream education has not so far been successful.

Find Out More

The Hub School is part of The Education Alliance (TEAL) multi-academy trust.  We are here to make great schools and happier, stronger communities so that people have better lives.

Our Governors work in partnership with the Headteacher and the staff of the school, as well as providing advice and acting as a link between the school and the local community.  Governors are responsible for monitoring the vision and values of the school and to act as a critical friend to the school’s Headteacher and senior leadership team, being ready to challenge and hold senior leaders to account for all aspects of the school’s performance.

We welcome professional experience and people with a diverse range of background and experiences, as well as community insight and experience of working collaboratively.  If you have an interest in education and the future of our young people, then volunteering is a fantastic way to make a huge contribution.

You will be able to develop on your current skills, and put your expertise to good use while making a real impact on the education of children and young people.

A Disclosure and Barring check service will be carried out on all candidates.
