Applications to any of our schools are made through the local authority where you live, even if the school is in another local authority’s area. Applications for places at our primary schools can be made at any time and should be made via your local authority.

Admissions to our Secondary Schools
The number of schools you can apply for can vary between local authorities. In the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull City Council local authorities, you can apply for places at up to 3 schools.

Admissions Arrangements 2026-27
The trust board of The Education Alliance Multi Academy Trust determined the admission arrangements for the 2026-27 school year in Spring 2025. At this meeting the trust board formally approved the following documents and approved the following admission numbers for the following schools:
- Beverley Minster Church of England Primary School, 30 places
- Driffield School and Sixth Form, 240 places
- Howden Church of England Infant School, 60 places
- Howden Junior School, 60 places
- Hunsley Primary, 30 places
- Malet Lambert, 350 places
- Naburn Church of England Primary School, 12 places
- North Cave Church of England Primary School, 20 places
- South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College 350 places
- The Snaith School, 150 places
- Wilberfoss Church of England Primary School, 30 places
How can I object to these arrangements?
- For applications to start a primary school for the first time in September 2026, appeal forms should be submitted by the parent / carers by 22 May 2026 and appeals are planned to be held in June and July 2026.
- For applications to start a secondary school for the first time in September 2026, appeal forms should be submitted by the parent / carers by 17 April 2026 and appeals are planned to be held between May and June 2026.
