About The Hub School

We are a school offering specialist support for students with social, emotional and mental health needs. Our aim is to improve the life chances of young people for whom mainstream education has not so far been successful.

Due to a new and exciting partnership with other schools within our Trust, we require a skilled individual to on the delivery of this new outreach support programme. The role will be fundamental to supporting schools in delivering the best possible Tier 1 support in the areas of pastoral care, social and emotional wellbeing, and mental health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering appropriate support for identified pupils through a bespoke support offer, underpinned by the social and emotional learning model, playing an essential part in helping pupils overcome barriers in order to be successful in school.

The post is permanent and will be paid on the TEAL Associate Pay Scale at point 11 with an actual annual salary of £21,110.

The working hours are from 08:30am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday during the school term.  The successful candidate will also be paid for an additional 35 hours per year, to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside normal working hours.

The nature of the role requires driving to various provision to support student learning; therefore, the use of a car or ability to reliably travel between sites is essential.
