About Driffield School & Sixth Form

Driffield School & Sixth Form is a growing 11-18 Comprehensive School which offers education for approximately 1,600 students living in Driffield and the Wolds.

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our team.   This role will supervise classes during the absence of the timetabled class teacher.  You will ensure students carry out the curriculum tasks set by the class teacher, assisting them to understand the nature of the work set and managing student behaviour.

The working days are up to five days a week and we welcome applications on a part time or full time basis.  The full time working hours are from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.  Your actual starting salary is £17,667 per annum based on working 30.8 hours over 5 days a week, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.  Your salary is on a progressive pay scale and it is anticipated that with annual pay progression, your salary will increase to £19,119 after your first year and to £20,770 after your second year.
