Working in the trust, teachers and associate staff benefit from sharing best practice from a wide range of expertise across each school. Staff benefit from joint training and a collaborative approach, leading to a richer experience for both staff and students.

The trust is dedicated to developing, growing and retaining talented leaders and staff across the trust and invests heavily in staff development. As the trust has developed, a wealth of opportunities for staff have arisen, enabling us to develop exciting career paths for those who work within the trust beyond those in a traditional, stand-alone academy or school.

Vicky joined South Hunsley as a Newly Qualified Teacher of English in 2009 and showed a passion for engaging with students and inspiring them to want to learn. Vicky quickly took responsibility for leading the Key Stage 5 Curriculum and was promoted to Director of English just four years later. In June 2016, she was promoted to the role of Trust Director of English and, in this role, Vicky supported colleagues across all three secondary schools. She was then promoted to Assistant Head, based at Driffield School and Sixth Form and then appointed as Deputy Headteacher. Vicky has recently been successfully appointed as Head Teacher at Driffield School and Sixth form
