I started working at South Hunsley school in 2010 as a Data Assistant while studying for my degree. I helped with administration jobs including the school timetable and examinations. In 2015 I began my ITT training as part of the first cohort of Wolds Teacher Training, completing my main placement at South Hunsley. 

I rejoined TEAL in September 2018 as Head of House at Driffield School, providing pastoral support to a range of students in Holtby House. I also led on transition across the school. In September 2020 I joined The Snaith School as Subject Leader of Maths, working closely with the Head of Faculty to support the running of the Maths department. I was then promoted to Director of Maths in September 2021 and, as well as having oversight of the running of the Maths department, have Senior Leader responsibilities for data, exams, options and timetable.
