South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint an IT Team Leader to work 37 hours per week, all year round. Your actual salary is SCP11, £22,183 per annum and you will be entitled to 22 days annual leave + bank holidays. You will provide a lead role for the provision of IT Support and manage a small team of IT technicians, whilst been supported from a technical aspect by the central IT team The role will include opportunities to troubleshoot and problem solve, therefore a solution-focused approach, and a background in troubleshooting will enable you to help support and resolve a wide range of issues from initial contact and request, through to escalation to an engineer or third party. You will cover all aspects of technologies from networking, servers to end-user devices, including hardware you will also use server technologies to provide IT Services.

Our technologies cover a range of systems from windows 10 desktop computers to windows server 2012R2 to 2019, Android, IOS and Chromebooks and a host of other systems both physical, virtual, and web-based systems.

Your knowledge, skills and experience:

• Experience of working in an ICT role
• Knowledge of networking, IP, Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 R2+
• Experience of managing a team or guiding workload
• Experience of educational software would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Have strong communication and customer service skills
