The Education Alliance Multi-Academy Trust was established in 2015 so that South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College could support the setting up of Hunsley Primary School, the East Riding’s first and only Free School. In February 2016, Malet Lambert School, an 11-16 school in Hull, joined the trust and the following year, Driffield School and Sixth Form joined as a sponsored academy. The Snaith School, an 11-16 school joined us in April 2019 and the latest school to join the trust was North Cave CE Primary School in November 2019. In addition to the six schools, South Hunsley School is also The lead in Wolds Associate Research School. The Education Alliance are seeking to appoint a Central IT Technician to work 37 hours per week, all year round. Your actual salary is SCP3, £18,933 per annum and you will be entitled to 22 days annual leave + bank holidays. You will provide a first line support help-desk function for the central IT Support Team and on occasions provide second line support where appropriate. The role will be based at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College in Melton, however you will be required to travel to other sites where required within the local area, which will be reimbursed via travel expenses.

You will be part of a friendly IT team, working together to deliver a high quality IT service, providing support to staff and students within school via our ticket system. You will be supported by our experienced team with clear escalation routes, training, and regular feedback as part of your role.
The role will include opportunities to troubleshoot and problem solve, therefore a solution-focused approach, and a background in troubleshooting will enable you to help support and resolve a wide range of issues from initial contact and request, through to completion. You will cover all aspects of technologies from networking, servers to end-user devices, including hardware you will also use server technologies to provide IT Services such as DNS/IP/DHCP, Active Directory and much more!
Our technologies cover a range of systems from windows 10 desktop computers to windows server 2012R2 to 2019, Android, IOS and Chromebooks and a host of other systems both physical, virtual, and web-based systems.
