South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint a Lead Technician to work 37 hours per week, all year round. Your actual salary is SCP11, £22,183 per annum, you will be entitled to 22 days annual leave + bank holidays. You will provide a lead role for the provision of IT Support and manage a small team of two IT technicians. The role will include opportunities to troubleshoot and problem solve, therefore a solution-focused approach, and a background in troubleshooting will enable you to help support and resolve a wide range of issues from initial contact and request, through to completion. You will cover all aspects of technologies from networking, servers to end-user devices, including hardware you will also use server technologies to provide IT Services such as DNS/IP/DHCP, Active Directory, whilst being supported by a central Engineer team allowing you to focus on driving the IT provision forward.
Our technologies cover a range of systems from windows 10 desktop computers to windows server 2012R2 to 2019, Android, IOS and Chromebooks and a host of other systems both physical, virtual, and web-based systems.
